Hello, long weekend! Memorial Day Weekend continues to be one of our favorite weekends of the year with an extra night to dance and an extra day to recover. We’ve got quite the lineup heading your way: SNBRN hits the booth tomorrow night, Purple Disco Machine takes over on Saturday and Honey Soundsystem is in the house for their annual Memorial Day affair on Sunday.
Yes, you read that correctly. And it’s absolutely a subject of interest for those of us who spend many of our nights up close and personal with top-tier sound systems – DJs, producers, music lovers, avid clubgoers and staff, and more.
Full disclaimer, though: this is not something you should try at home (yet).
Four nights of music kicks off tomorrow! We have a full schedule of stellar beats coming your way. Hernan Cattaneo returns to the decks tomorrow night, Detlef hits the club for his first time on Friday, Treasure Fingers is in the house on Saturday and – last, but definitely not least – Davi and Groove Cartel take over for a Sunday evening affair.
But enough talk – let’s give them a listen below.
Anjunabeats fans, rejoice – Spencer Brown has finally released his much-anticipated debut album, Illusion of Perfection.
Out just last week, it’s an embodiment of how far the San Francisco-based producer has come, the influences that have played a role in crafting his sound and the immense talent that he holds within his fingertips. We’ve had the absolute pleasure of hosting Spencer on our Funktion Ones and have watched him develop into a stunning young artist at the age of 24. And – in case ya missed it – his track “Audio” is near and dear to our hearts, as it’s named after our club.
We’re back again with two epic nights ahead of us: Los Angeles-based electronic artists Oliver return to the club on Friday, May 11th and the jackin’ house beats of Weiss take over from open to close on Saturday, May 12th.
May is here, spring is at our fingertips and SNBRN is back with another edition of his Spring Sessions mixes! This episode, 005, brings together his unique mixture of nudisco, deep house and indie dance that results in some perfect sounds for a sunny spring day.
Three nights, four artists, one beating bassline. We’re diving into an impressive weekend of music tonight as Jack Beats returns to the club, followed by a techno takeover by Sian and Lian K on Friday night. And last, but definitely not least, one of our favorite Audio residents – none other than Felix Da Housecat – hits the decks on Saturday.
Let’s make one thing clear: contrary to popular opinion, the music industry is not dying.
Two Audio veterans return to the decks this weekend for a house music affair! Felix Jaehn is back in the booth tomorrow night and Kidnap – formally known as Kidnap Kid – makes his way to the club on Saturday.
Toolroom Records has made its mark in the electronic music world as one of the best house and techno labels out there. This year, they’re hitting a huge milestone as they turn 15 years old.
