We’re heading full-force into spring as we kick off the first weekend of April with an absolutely stunning lineup of musical heavyweights hitting the club. Tonight, our new No Place Like Home series takes over with MANICS on the decks, followed by a double-header night on Friday with Tube & Berger and Bontan in the booth. Saturday is sure to be a special affair, with Laidback Luke presenting a Strictly Techno set.
Four nights of music are at your fingertips – take a listen to their sounds below.
Thursday, April 5th: MANICS
MANICS started back in 2011 when Jordan Deherrera and Chris Sanders came together to create the San Francisco-based indie dance group. Since then, they’ve released on the iconic Dim Mak records and started their own label, Popgang Records. Tonight, they’re featured as a part of our No Place Like Home showcase as they celebrate five years of Popgang – and Chris’ 29th birthday!
This event is free all night – you can RSVP and find more info here.
Friday, April 6th: Tube & Berger and Bontan
We’re excited to host three stellar musicians this Friday as we have a double-headliner evening featuring the likes of Bontan and Tube & Berger.
Bontan is a UK-based DJ and producer that has released on some massive imprints since his start, including 20/20 Vision, Elrow Music and Hot Creations. He’s dominating the underground house scene and is known for being one of the top selling acts on Beatport ever.
Tube & Berger is a pair hailing from Germany, consisting of members Arndt Rorig and Marco Vidoviz. Their deep house prowess has been known across the house music scene since their hit “Straight Ahead” skyrocketed to the top of Billboard’s Dance Radio Chart.
With both of these artists behind the decks, this is bound to be a Friday for the books. You can find tickets here.
Saturday, April 7th: Laidback Luke
Laidback Luke is perhaps one of the most well-known names in the entire electronic music industry, as his sound has grown and evolved to intertwine many genres since getting his start as a producer and DJ in the early 1990s.
This Saturday, we’re beyond thrilled to have him at Audio as he returns to his roots in the house and techno world with a Strictly Techno set. This is a unique evening as the intimacy of the club and the beating of a techno bassline from such a respected producer will be quite the combination.
