Check Out Yotto’s New BBC Essential Mix

The BBC Essential Mix presented by Pete Tong has an international reputation for its regular programming by numerous globally renowned DJs and producers. The most impressive mixes are often shared with the world via Essential Mixes from artists including Carl Cox, DJ Tennis, Patrice Baumel, Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, Solomun and many more. This week, we’re thrilled to share that Yotto – an Audio favorite and Anjunadeep artist – has been featured on the mix.

Yotto is a Finnish producer and DJ first released on Above and Beyond’s esteemed deep house label back in May 2015 and has since built an extremely impressive global reputation. He’s no stranger to BBC’s musical programming, either – he has had five “Essential New Tune” recognitions from Pete Tong and two tracks selected by Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show as “Hottest Record In The World.”

The artist – whose real name is Otto Yliperttula – first dove into music at a mere 12 years old when he began tinkering with a piano and synthesizer. Further down the road, he fell in love with FL Studio and began collaborating with friends on new sounds. Today, he’s become a name well-known in the house music industry, with releases on Anjunadeep and Green Recordings as well as work with producers including Coldplay, Lane 8, Rufus, M82 and Above & Beyond.
