We’re kicking off 2018 with a triple-header this weekend at the club. Tomorrow night, Dirtybird labelmates and bass house connoisseurs Christian Martin and Sage Armstrong perform. On Saturday, January 5th find San Francisco native Behrouz on the decks.
Before the end of the week hits, let’s check out their sounds.
Friday, January 5th: Christian Martin and Sage Armstrong
Christian Martin has been a mainstay in the electronic music world for years – he’s one of the four original founders of the iconic Dirtybird crew, which is easily one of the most-loved names on the West Coast. Sage Armstrong, a newcomer to the Dirtybird clan, released his debut track on the label “What’s Yo Tempetcha?” in 2015.
Dirtybird was started by Christian, his brother Justin, Claude VonStroke and Worthy. The original goal was to alter the house music landscape in San Francisco as they knew it by throwing a free, and absolutely bumping, party in Golden Gate Park. These parties have become an infamous legend of the Park, and opened the gates for the budding producers to develop their signature Dirtybird sound.

Saturday, January 6th: Behrouz
Behrouz has been an artist for over twenty years – from residencies at some of the most well-known clubs across the U.S. to his iconic Burning Man sets on Robot Heart each year, his name has become one synonymous with house music.
One of his latest endeavors was the creation of Do Not Sit On The Furniture, an intimate Miami venue that intends to inspire life in the city’s underground music scene. Behrouz curates the venue lineup and has booked the likes of YokoO and Chaim, Ghab Rhome, Death On The Balcony and more.
