We’re back again with a stellar lineup this weekend, starting off with Dirtybird heavyweight Ardalan on Friday, 1/19. We’re welcoming back the infamous Space Yacht crew on Saturday, 1/20. With secret lineups at every show they throw, we’re preparing for a bass-heavy, beat-thumping good time.
Friday, January 19th: Ardalan
San Francisco-based, Tehran-born DJ and producer Ardalan has been quickly climbing his way through the ranks of house music prowess with his unique sound: a combination of oddly enticing samples, wandering vocals and a heavy bassline.
With releases on heavyweight labels including Dirtybird Records and Yoshitoshi Recordings, his music carefully rides the balance between underground basement beats and club-ready productions in the most impressive form.

Saturday, January 20th: Space Yacht
Space Yacht has become a name infamous known originally for its weekly parties in Los Angeles – one of the funnest ways to spend your Tuesday – and later for its events across the U.S.
The group, founded by Henry Lu, Rami Perlman and Ollie Zhang (pictured above), created the dance parties as a platform for artists to try out new things. In an interview with LA Weekly, Perlman said:
“Space Yacht has become this testing platform for artists to play stuff they may not be comfortable playing at other venues. You’ll hear a lot of them get on the mic and say, ‘I just wrote this today at 5 o’clock.’ There’s a sense of trust with the audience.”
Though their lineups remain a secret until you show up, here’s their weekly featured Soundcloud playlist for your listening pleasure until Saturday. You can find tickets to the event here.
